We are pleased to announce that our fully equipped LPG gas conversion workshop has re-opened, we are also extremely pleased to welcome Stephen Rowley, a very experienced vehicle technician, who is capable of converting petrol propelled vehicles to run on LPG. Stephen has converted a number of 4 x 4 including Land Rover, BMW, Subaru, Toyota, etc., as well as saloon cars in various makes, the latest being the Chrysler PT 2.4 litre, he will also undertake repairs to LPG systems, but this will depend on the vehicle and system installed.
Although Stephen will be running this side of things on his own account, we would emphasise that we would not allow anyone else to operate from our premises who did not meet our approval, he is able to install to the highest standards, and supplies a choice of the latest electronic conversion equipment available. GT Gas Autogas is high quality LPG. Our additives combat the inherent undesirable contents of LPG. These elements such as long chain hydrocarbons, water, dirt and oil are present in all forms of LPG, however they are more common in the less refined non-branded LPG blends. CGX-4+ gives total protection with lubrication and cleansing properties for the gas system and moving parts. It also burns more efficiently increasing fuel economy and reduces emissions. An upper cylinder lubricant is also included to give total protection to your engine. CGX-4+ has already proven itself with regard to its emission and maintenance benefits, why not take advantage of it yourself?
Ask your supplier if their LPG conforms to BS 4250. A poor quality gas supply can cause long term problems for your cars gas system and engine through a build up of oils and sandy deposits in the vaporizor and long chain hydrocarbons settling on valves and pipe work. Car problems and premature mechanical breakdown of the gas system associated with poor quality gas are not an installers responsibility, your car can be maintained from the inside with our premium quality AutoGas. After making an expensive investment, why spoil it with ordinary fuel?
'Drip Feed' protection systems are ok whilst they are working and invariably need to be constantly adjusted and cracked pipes replaced and of course topped up, with our fuel the additive not only is a full system product but you don't have to do anything, just reap the rewards of a quality fuel.
